Days of Taste
Fourth graders participated in a unique learning opportunity. This event stretched over 3 days and included both in school and out of school field trips. Students learned about farm to table concepts, visited a local farm, and sampled food coming from farms across the state. Students were engaged in lessons talking about why eating local food is important to the environment in addition to learning what 'local' really means. Date: 2016, 2017, and 2018 |
