4th Grade Seminar - Treasure the Chesapeake
For our 4th Grade GT Seminar, Treasure the Chesapeake, students considered their own connections to the Chesapeake Bay as well about life in and around the Bay. Students learned about the many plants and animals living in and around the Bay. Time was spent understanding invasive species of the Bay and the how they could help with environmental concerns currently impacting the Bay. Date: 2020 |

Pollution Letters to the DRES Community
As part of a Curriculum Extension Unit our 3rd Graders wrote letters to the DRES Community. Students wrote included information they learned about pollution and its negative effects. They included simple solutions for their readers to prevent against land, air, water, and noise pollution.
